How to connect your Google Calendar accounts

Step-by-step guide to linking your Google accounts with 2calendars.

Before you begin

You will need at least two Google accounts with Google Calendar enabled. Each account is connected separately using Google’s secure OAuth process — you never share your password with 2calendars.

Connecting an account

  1. Sign in to your 2calendars dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the accounts section.
  3. Click Connect Google Account.
  4. Google will ask you to choose which account to connect. Select the account you want to link.
  5. Review the permissions 2calendars is requesting and click Allow.
  6. You will be redirected back to your dashboard, where the new account appears in your account list.

Repeat these steps for each Google account you want to sync.

What permissions does 2calendars request?

2calendars requests access to read and write calendar events for the account you connect. This is necessary to detect changes on your source calendar and create mirrored blocks on your destination calendar.

We do not access your email, contacts, files, or any other Google service.

Corporate and Google Workspace accounts

If you are connecting a work account managed by your organization’s Google Workspace, your IT administrator may need to allow third-party app access. If the connection fails during authorization, check with your administrator.

You are responsible for ensuring your employer’s policies permit connecting a corporate account to third-party services.

Disconnecting an account

You can disconnect a Google account at any time from your dashboard. Disconnecting stops future synchronization for calendars associated with that account. Previously mirrored events are not automatically removed — you may need to delete them manually from Google Calendar.

You can also revoke access directly from your Google account’s security settings.
