How to sync two Google Calendars in real time

Why copying events by hand doesn’t work

How to sync two Google Calendars, step by step

1. Connect both Google accounts

2. Choose the sync direction

How to verify it’s working

After connecting your calendars, create a quick test event on one side, anything, a placeholder titled “sync test” for five minutes from now. Switch to the other calendar and refresh. You should see it appear as a Busy block (or with full details, if you chose that) within seconds. Edit the time, and watch the mirrored event update to match. Delete it, and it should disappear on both sides.

If something doesn’t show up, check that both accounts are still authorized, a revoked Google permission is the most common cause of a stalled sync, and that you didn’t accidentally tag the event with a skip rule like [nosync].
